Today I have met up with Taizong, and he was telling me all about the Tang Dynasty. This is what he told me; During the Tang Dynasty the Chinese empire was the largest, richest and most populated empire in the world, he said. The first emperor of the Tang Dynasty was Li Yuan, after he died Taizong, his son, came into rule. He made a code of laws that were based on Confusion thought. During this time towns grew because of trade, and foreigners came and introduced new ideas and new technology. But the end of this dynasty was horrible; it ended in war and rebellion.
